Las Vegas is a very pet-friendly city, with most major hotels and resorts welcoming dogs (and some welcome cats, too). You can even walk your dog on the famous Las Vegas Strip, but only between the hours of 5am and noon. When it’s playtime, the city has over 20 off-leash dog parks, so there’s probably one close to your hotel.
The closest dog park to the Las Vegas Strip is Western Trails Park, which is just south of McCarran International Airport. As a desert destination, pet parents should be careful during summer months, as the sidewalk, street, and other outdoor paved areas can be too hot for doggy feet for most of the day. Choose a hotel with a lot of shaded outdoor areas and green space for even midday doggy walks.
Note: Some businesses may be temporarily closed due to recent global health and safety issues.
